Somerville Highlanders Storm the TD Garden

Somerville Highlanders Boys Basketball defeats Belmont 65-63 on Saturday in the TD Garden Good Sports Invitational.

There were eight lead changes in the fourth quarter. Then with 13 seconds remaining Junior captain Fru Che (18 points) calmly drilled two free throws to put the Highlanders ahead for good. Senior captain Salim Warsame was named player of the game as he finished with 20 points.

The Highlanders travel to Medford on Tuesday @ 7pm.
