The U.S. House of Representatives has taken a crucial step to protect children by passing a bill that makes “bodily mutilation of a minor” a federal crime. Sponsored by Marjorie Taylor Greene, the 216‑211 vote shows lawmakers are finally prioritizing the safety and well-being of kids nationwide.

While some states already act, this legislation ensures no child is subjected to irreversible gender‑altering treatments anywhere in the country.

Sheila died peacefully at Cambridge Hospital after a battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
