Obituary
Teresa M. (Gorski) Forestell, of Dracut, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born in Cambridge and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Marian and Kazimiera (Cieslak) Gorski.
Teresa dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a nurse at the Cambridge Health Alliance, where she worked at the Somerville Hospital. Her compassion for her patients was evident in everything she did, and she was deeply proud of her work.
Beyond her career, Teresa had a zest for life. She loved to travel, always seeking out new places to explore and experience. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world. The joy of seeing their smiles was a constant source of happiness for her, and her love for them was boundless.
Teresa was also an avid reader and found peace and comfort in her faith, being an active member of the Somerville Community Baptist Church. Above

Devoted Babcia of Ashleigh, Colby, Sophia, Felicity, Fiona and the late Penelope, Griffin and Rosalie. Cherished sister of Ronald Gorski and his wife Ronda of Tewksbury, and the late Marian Gorski and his surviving wife Barbara of Somerville, and the late Irene Cinelli and her surviving husband Robert of Billerica. Loving longtime companion of Patrick “Buddy” Scarry of Somerville. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Monday, March 17th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th in the Somerville Community Baptist Church 31 College Ave Somerville, MA at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends may visit prior to the service in the church from 9:30AM to 10:00AM.
Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
