Obituary

Kevin T. Cloherty, of Cambridge, passed away on May 21, 2024 in Lexington, he was 68. Born in Somerville, but raised in Cambridge, Kevin was one of ten children born to the late Mary “Mae” (Kelly) and John J. Cloherty.

He was the cherished father of Kevin Cloherty of Revere. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. He could often be found casting his rods at Spy Pond in Arlington or time spent at Castle Island in Southie. For many years, he resided in Minnesota before moving back to his beloved city of Cambridge.

In addition to his son Kevin, he is survived by his brothers and sisters and their families; Marie Baird, Michael E. Cloherty, Sheila Cloherty Reilly, Laurene Bergin, David C. Cloherty and the late Kelly Carr, Joseph R. Cloherty, John P. “Johnny” Cloherty and Brian Cloherty. He was the dear uncle to many nieces, nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
