There are still good honest people in this world!
I want to say thank you to Maddie and Frank for their honesty and integrity and I sincerely appreciate you! CVS should be proud to have employees like you two!
Today I went to CVS located at 5:32 Medford Street in Somerville, Magoun Square. I purchased a birthday card and I went to the self pay kiosk to cash out. As I cashed out at the machine asked me if I wanted money back and I replied yes and withdrew the funds. Two hours later I went to a store to play a lottery number and lo and behold I couldn’t find that money. I’m unknowingly/forgot to take the money out of the CVS self pay register machine when I bought the birthday card!
I called the store and spoke to Maddy (who is posing in the picture with me) and she said that nobody turned it in as of yet and I looked around the machine I don’t see it but let me take your number I’ll check with a coworker who just signed out. An hour shortly after that my phone rang and of course it was Maddie she said “Bill I just talked to my coworker he said he put it in a cash drawer before he clocked out with a note reading “Somebody left this money here in the self check out register!”
 Again thank you to Maddie and Frank for your honesty and integrity! And yes I rewarded them with half the money that I originally withdrew as an appreciation gift. I gave it to them because 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing!
