Obituary
Nicola Termale – Of Somerville, formerly of Gaeta, Italy, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, February 12, 2026. He was 88 years old.
Born and raised in Gaeta, Nicola was the beloved son of the late Enrico and Teresa (DiMille) Termale.
Nicola was a devoted husband, father, and family man. He cherished the time he spent with his son and especially with his loving wife, who was the center of his world. Known for his kind and gentle spirit, Nicola touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A hardworking and dedicated provider, Nicola took great pride in always ensuring his family had everything they needed. His love was expressed not only in words, but in his unwavering commitment and quiet strength.
Nicola enjoyed traveling, particularly making trips back to Italy to visit family and reconnect with his roots. He also found great joy in gardening and was well known for his green thumb, tending to his plants with patience and care. On occasion, he would test his luck at the casino, enjoying the excitement and camaraderie it brought.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Italia (Colozzo) Termale. Devoted father of Enrico Termale. Loving brother of Anna Spinosa of Italy, and the late Giuseppe Termale and the late Ida Valente. Also lovingly survived by many loving nieces and nephews both here in the U.S and Italy.
A private graveside service was held at Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden.
