Obituary
Daniel G. O’Connell, of Medford, passed away suddenly on December 12, 2025, he was 64.

Born in Everett and raised in Medford, Daniel was the son of the late Anna M. (Trebino) O’Connell , who died in June of this year and James A. O’Connell, who died in October of this year.

Daniel is survived by his brother, James G. O’Connell and his partner Michael Micale of Alpharetta, Georgia and by his nieces and nephews, James, Julianne, Jaclyn, Jennifer, John and their families. Sadly, he was also predeceased by his sister Joan E. O’Connell.

Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Wednesday, January 7th from 9:30AM – 10:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church at 11:00AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
