Obituary
Assunta Pasqualina Iacobucci, lovingly known to many as “Lina”, passed away in the peace and comfort of her home in Somerville on August 25, 2026, she was 91. Born and raised in Toro, Campobasso, Italy she was the cherished daughter of AnnaMaria (Fracasso) and Guiseppe Nardozza. The beloved wife of the late Emidio “Tony” A. Iacobucci, they married in Italy and immigrated to the United States, settling in Somerville to raise their family. Together they celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2015.
Lina was devoted to raising her family and supporting Tony while he owned and operated the Hodkin’s Spa on Holland Street. She enjoyed tending to her garden and growing her beautiful flowers, sitting on her front porch, but above all time spent with her family.
The devoted mother of Mark Iacobucci of Somerville, John Iacobucci and his wife Carol of Revere, Joseph Iacobucci of Somerville, Connie Evangelista and her husband Felice of Stoneham, Lucy Miniello of Medford, Rocco Iacobucci and his wife Michele of Saugus and Lina Iacobucci of Medford. Lina was the cherished Nonna of 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
