Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
Just toured a 3 bedroom house in Cambridge and the agent said there might be a $200-250 rent increase since there’s 4 of us moving in.
We are one couple, plus two friends (hence the three bedrooms). This seems unreasonable to me considering the house is 3 floors and could easily house a family of 4+. Is this allowed or can I argue it?
