Medford Police officers and dispatchers on Wednesday morning, Dispatcher AnnMarie Giordano was recognized by Dispatch Supervisor Mike Salvi for her outstanding response.
Dispatcher Giordano remained on the line with a distressed caller, offering calm, compassionate support during an incredibly difficult moment. She continued to assist the individual in person when they arrived at the police station, providing comfort and reassurance.
Her professionalism, empathy, and dedication are a true reflection of the exceptional service our dispatch team provides every day. Thank you, Dispatcher Giordano, for going above and beyond. Job well done.
Medford dispatch without a contract for 3 years.
And still in limbo with Congress to recognize 911 dispatchers as first responders so we get a better quality of life
