Obituary
Patricia Synnove Alger (nee Lodoen) has passed away at the age of 79.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, “Honey” was the daughter of the late George O.N. Lodoen and Ruth PerryLodoen. She spent most of her formative years in Alexandria, Virginia, and she was a proud graduate of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
Most recently a resident of Wakefield, Mass., she previously lived in Somerville, Mass., New York City,
East Bridgewater, Mass., and Brockton, Mass.She is predeceased by her husband David Joseph Alger of East Bridgewater, Mass. She leaves behinddaughter Sarah Alger, son-in-law Lee Williams, granddaughter Sylvie Williams, and grandcats Louie and
Leo, of Wakefield, Mass.
One of her proudest achievements was bringing back to livability a ramshackle late-1600s house with her husband in East Bridgewater. Her greatest joys were watching musicals (having seen scores on Broadway and in London’s West End) and solving Will Shortz crossword puzzles.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to the MGH Fund.
