Vittorio “Victor” Spadorcia passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the age of 84 in the comfort of his loving family.
Victor was born on June 9, 1940 in Prezza, Italy and then moved to Canada, the North End and most recently Medford, MA, where he has lived for over 40 years. Victor was the loving son of the late Vito and Michelina (Pasquale) Spadorcia. He was a warm, kind, gentle and loyal husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.
As a young man, Victor worked hard as a Union Laborer for 35 years and was devoted to raising his family. He was a member of the Circle Club in Medford, where he enjoyed his time with friends. He was very passionate about planting his vegetable garden every year and enjoyed making the homemade red wine. Victor was always the life of the party and made sure everyone was eating and enjoying themselves. He was the happiest when everyone was around the dinner table and he had his family together. Most of all, Victor was devoted to his wife, three sons and four grandchildren. He was a loving presence in the everyday lives of his grandchildren, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.
Victor was the beloved husband of his beautiful wife Erminia “Irma” (Clark) Spadorcia. He was the devoted father of Luigi “Louie” Spadorcia, Michelino “Michael” Spadorcia and his wife Doreen, and Pasqualino “Pat” Spadorcia. Victor was the cherished grandfather of Nico, Trey, Haley and Christian Spadorcia, and the dear brother of Lucia Svizzero and her late husband Caesar, the late Agnes Dipietro and her husband Victorio, Ettore Rosatone and his wife Antonia, Maria Svizerro and her husband Domenico, Ottavio Spadorcia and his wife Maria, and Bambina Spadorcia and her husband Domenico. Victor is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit Victor’s family at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, June 26th from 4 through 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will celebrate Victor’s eternal Life at Saint Clement Church, 60 Warner St, Medford, MA on Thursday, June 27th at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
