Today was a very special day for our friend Anton. He was the lucky winner of a ‘Ride to School with the Chief of Police’ prize through the Friends of the Medford Family Network’s Silent Auction last fall. We were honored to accompany Anton to school and made sure he had a memorable ride.
We started the day early, picking up Anton from his house and providing him with a police escort. Anton was thrilled to see so many cruisers and motorcycles leading the way, and he couldn’t stop smiling throughout the entire ride.
We made sure that we had his favorite double chocolate donuts on hand and we gifted him a whole bag of MPD merchandise so that he could remember this day for years to come.
Overall, it was a great experience for Anton, and we were glad to be a part of it. It’s always heartwarming to see the joy on a child’s face, and today was no exception.
