Obituary
Gibbons, David T. – Of Medford, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Blueberry Hill Rehab. He was 79.
David was the last surviving member of his family, and he always stressed how important family was to him and would help any of us if needed. He missed his wife so, who passed three years prior and enjoyed getting together with his two sister in-laws to reminisce of the old days. David loved them like his own. He was proud of his sons and the lives that they have created with their loving wives. David was very proud of his grandchildren, he may not have always told them, but he always wanting to know what they were up to and kept track of all their accomplishments and milestones. David was an avid sports fan, he loved routing for his beloved Red sox, and New England Patriots. David was also very much into Drag racing which for him began back in the early 60’S as a teenager. He enjoyed going to New England Dragway to race his car in the 60’s and continued to follow his passion off and on into the mid 90’s when he just become a spectator. He still enjoyed going to the track to see old friends and watch his son who followed in his footsteps race. Dad is now with his love Norine and his son Brian watching over us.
