Obituary
We are saddened to announce that Benjamin Z. Rothberg passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was a lover of all creatures great and small, and his compassionate spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Born on Camp Lejune in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Benjamin is the loving son of Laura (Clayman) Rothberg and the late Dr. Richard Rothberg. Dear brother of Dr. Jonathan Rothberg and his wife Kriss, all of Somerville and the late Miriam Ruffalo and her surviving husband, Glen Ruffalo of Boca Raton, Florida. Cherished uncle of Rachel Ruffalo of Miami, Florida. Benjamin is also survived by many cousins and extended family members on the East and West Coasts.
Services will be held privately by the family.
