Somerville/Medford Remembering Maryann T. (Rogers) Barnard

MARYANN’S OBITUARY
Maryann T. (Rogers) Barnard, of Somerville, passed away on September 10, 2023 following a battle against dementia, she was 75.

Known by many as “DeeDee”, she was born and raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Mary (Carey) and James Rogers. For many years DeeDee worked as a matron with the Somerville Police department where she retired following many years of service.
She was the loving mother of Michelle J. Coiley and her husband William of St. Petersburg, FL and the late Patricia A. Barnard. Cherished grandmother of Hayley White, Michael White, Jr., Ryley White and Everett Cameron, Jr. Dear sister of the late James “Bucky” Rogers, Judith McBrine and her husband Richard of Onset, Patricia Rogers of Wareham and Timothy Rogers and his wife Lynne of Quincy. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway Somerville on Friday, Sept. 15th from 4pm-7pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, Saturday, September 16th at 11AM, those attending are asked to gather and park behind the Woodlawn Chapel (just inside the main gate) for a procession to the gravesite.
