Somerville Fire Department Lieutenant Elliot Kerner Retires

Congratulations to the Senior man on the Job, Lieutenant Elliot Kerner on his retirement from the Somerville Fire Department.

LT. Kerner was sworn in on April 23, 1984. He served the Citizens of Somerville faithfully for the next 39 Years. Elliot spent the first part of his career as a Firefighter assigned to Engine 2 group 1 out of the Reilly-Brickley station.

Elliot was promoted to Lieutentant in 2010 and retired as the Lt. of Engine 3 group 1 out of Union Square.

Elliot looks forward to spending time holding court with friends and family on his Boat, that very rarely leaves the dock!!
