Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
You need to go by 27 College Ave in Somerville because the city has now installed parking meters in front of our homes directly across the street from the elderly building to compensate parking revenue that was once brought in by the metered parking spaces that they so foolishly removed from College Avenue.
Since the city took away the parking spaces on College Ave, the residents are now fighting back putting up signs by taping them to the newly installed parking meters with strong messages to the new mayor of the city to cut this nonsense out. Please come by and take photos of this mess that we residents now have to deal with everyday. Please contact me to see if we can work together with our neighbors and the city to restore the parking spaces that they removed or to create a feasible plan that will work for all and remove these newly installed parking meters from the front of our homes.
