As the leaves continue to fall, there are ways you can help keep our waterways clean. Compost, mulch, or bag leaves for curbside pick-up. Yard waste collection ends on Friday, December 9. Do not rake leaves into the street or down storm drains.
Blocking storm drains can cause flooding, and large amounts of leaves in our water can lead to an excess of decaying organic material in waterways.
