It seems that the current mayor and his Favorite Developer/Former Alderman/Attorrney/Business Partner are at their dirty tricks again. This time the undynamic duo are taking their scams to another level on Broadway at the site of the former Boulter Plywood Company that’s located at the corner of Broadway and Mt vernon street in Somerville.
They have come out now with these bogus printed signs that have nothing to do with the city of Somerville and they’re forcing people from parking in front of their own homes and businesses with the homemade unofficial fake scam signage. This is all taking place all the while they have no permits, no police details, and no right to do what they’re doing.
A reader also sent this to us via Somerville Speakup Line not to long ago:
Please explain how this can be built? Seriously 91 units 26 parking spots and 85 bike spaces….
Furthermore the site is cross contaminated…
Soil tests have been done to show that the contamination is coming from a 44 Broadway the site of a mechanic place from the 70’s and 80’s….
This is not acceptable!
Now , a registered letter was sent to the neighborhood that the place is slated to be demolished with no permits from ISD as of 7-30-2020
The saddening part is that not one city councilor is doing anything about it right? They’re all also part of the problem and must be in it together somehow?
Somerville systemic corruption at its best!
So have charges been filed about this fraud? It would appear to be something that should be fined for. Or does this got the way of the drunken underage drinking party complete with stabbing never to be pursued? Lots of missing paperwork in this city.
They do what they want. Police details are useless anyways all they do is earn thousands of OUR TAX dollars chit-chat’n on their phones or relaxing in their vehicles in the meantime people are trying to cross the street and/or the cars have no clue which direction to go. The city of Somerville is a joke. Alderman, Mayor what the hell does that mean except a title to bully people. Streets are closed left and right homeowners have NO notice that their streets are closed. Fake signs are all over the place. Somerville is sign city among other names that cannot be printed.
