The Senate 39-0, approved and sent to the House bill that would require all public universities to offer ways for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities to participate in programs that provide academic, career and independent living skills alongside students who do not have disabilities. The City of Somerville Council on Aging is now accepting donations of new games, puzzles, books, arts and craft supplies, and other fun items to deliver some cheer to local seniors. Sudoku books, word searches, adult coloring books, sketch pads, playing cards, and stationery are especially popular. Naveo Credit Union awards $4,500 in scholarships to recipients of the Carlos Faria and Victor Da Silva Memorial Scholarship Fund

(Somerville, MA) Naveo Credit Union’s Scholarship Committee awarded three scholarships of $1,500 each to local students attending a college or university this fall.
