I’m reading your prior article correctly, the Deputy Chiefs are receiving a $10K pay raise. The SFD received a contract after only being 1 year expired recently, but the SPD Patrolman have been w/o a contract now for 6 yrs as of 7/1/2020. These are the women and men who risk their lives daily to keep the people of Somerville safe have been w/o a valid contract for 6 yrs.
How can the Mayor, this administration and the Somerville City Council justify this?
