Dear Billy T and Somerville News Weekly Speakup Line,
The City of Somerville is doing all it can to help during this tumultuous and scary time. Some people dont have food. Some people can’t pay their rent or make their car payment. The Federal Government signs a $2Trillion stimulus bill while the City of Somerville makes sure all homeowners receive their exorbitant real estate tax bill. Yayyy. Go Somerville.

Susan Bottari, you hit the nail right on the head because these tax and water bills came in today from the city of Somerville as Mayor Joe’s Press Release was posted! Unbelievable! So inconsiderate to the people of Somerville! No consideration nor compassion for the so many Somerville homeowners that struggled so hard to buy and maintain their homes that help build this city! It’s in the Book!
They can’t even unload their million dollar shoddy condos! Good Luck!
This administration has proven time and time again their lack of concern for the taxpaying property owners. Especially the elderly and homes occupied by families for generations. Here they go with their socialist agenda to save everyone and screw the property owners.
The Mayor is trying to compete with Mayor Walsh and the Governor. Its all about media attention for him whether its good or bad.
The only good thing is it is very likely he will be gone in two years. Lets see where he sets up camp. I’m betting he flees the bordered Ten Hills section of Somerville who has a lower tax rate than any other area of the city.
I was shocked as well when I receive my taxes and water in the same week. Thanks Mr . Mayor appreciate you looking out for just the renters .
I’ve said this before, the only way to get these morons out it to elect new people who will look out for everyone.
