Somerville Mother’s Plea To Help Solve Her Son’s 27 Year Old Unsolved Murder

On the afternoon of Wednesday May 1st, 1993, a young Somerville man, John E Blundon was found brutally murdered. The cause of death was believed to be from a blunt force to the back of the head with either a baseball bat or a pole.

The murder took place behind the former Khoury’s State Spa that was located on Broadway in Somerville.

John E Blundon was a chef for MIT College in Cambridge.

John’s mother is pleading with the public for any information leading to solve her son’s murder. She told us that someone out there saw something and knows what happened and she is pleading for them to come forward with any information at all.
