Dear Billy T and Somerville Speakup Line,
At least for each and everyone involved in the Winter Hill mistake. I am calling it that as that is exactly what it is.
I would like all those involved starting immediately to take a pay cut of a percentage the same as the businesses you have so severely hurt. You should take the responsibility for this and make up for their losses until you fix the problem you broke. It is the right thing to do.
We, the taxpayers of Winter Hill love our small businesses. That’s why they have been here so long. Locals as well as people from other parts of Somerville come here to these shops. You have been successful at driving our people away from these businesses.
At least step up to the plate and do the right thing for once. You have to know by now that people are coming together to fight for our neighborhood like never before.
Political figures are now starting to see how this has gone bad and that this small protest is growing each and every day and getting stronger.
Tuesday is coming and we want changes. The long term home owners and taxpayers and businesspeople of Somerville and Winter Hill. Give us back OUR city. NOW.
