  2. My Dad (Ed McClure)worked as a Somerville police officer with Mr O’Meara and I met he and his lovely wife many times. Such wonderful people. Our condolences to o the entire O’Meara family.

  3. Det Sgt Paul O’Meara treated everyone on the job with great respect. Not many left from His era, RIP Sgt.

  4. The one man the term jovial really describes. Every time you spoke with Sergeant O’Meara he would get excited about what you were talking about and there was always a chuckle or laugh before you left. This man made you feel important. Rest in Peace, Paul, you have been an honorable man.

  5. Paul was one of the best people I ever met in Law Enforcement. Worked with him on Somerville Police Department

  6. Great guy- old school all the way. One of my first impressions of what a Sergeant should be. He wouldn’t let you fudge a minute on those court slips.
