Somerville High School Class of 1981 Turns 55 years Old

The majority of Somerville High School’s Class of 1981 will have turned 55 years old this year.

So they threw themselves a little party at the Wakefield Elks last Saturday September 29th.

Approximately 60 of them attended and had a nice buffet of appetizers provided by one of their classmates, Bob Athas – who owns Culinary Creations Catering of Burlington. Music was provided by DJ Dave Glinner of Wilmington.

They then lit the candles and sang happy birthday to themselves.

Anthony and Maria Accardi organized the event with the help of Barbara Connors – who got the Elks hall for them. Susan (White) Tkaczuk provided the birthday cake. Sonia (Masci) Pearsall took the pictures and Sal and Lynn Schirripa was who checked everyone in at the door.

The classmates also recorded and posted to facebook, a “Get Well ” cheer for Class of 81 member Mark Rais, whom just went through triple by-pass surgery down in Florida…….as of this letter, he is doing great.

Next up for the SHS Class of 1981…………..40th Reunion in 2021……..it will be here before you know it.
