Stuck in The House Bills in Third Reading Committee since the House first gave it initial approval on May 10, 2017 is legislation that makes a change in the current law that allows cities and towns to establish a program permitting veterans to volunteer their services to the community in exchange for up to a $1,000 property tax reduction. The proposal raises the reduction to $1,500.
