Over the last four years, $650,000 has been made available to District Attorneys to support victims and witnesses. The funds can be used to pay for a moving van, change locks, or other measures to make sure victims feel safe.
In Middlesex County, just 0.6% of the available funds were used. This is a failure of leadership. It’s time to do better.
