2018 Theme is “Masquerade Ball”
Masquerade! Paper faces on parade. Masquerade! Hide your face, so the world will never find you!
Those are the lyrics from “Masquerade” from Phantom of the Opera, probably the most well-known masked character in all of theater and one of the inspirations behind this year’s LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s prom theme of Masquerade Ball.
This year’s prom will be held on Wednesday, May 16 from 7:00-9:00 pm and will feature a DJ spinning tunes from across the decades. Guests are encouraged to come dressed-up in their own creative masks and a prom king and queen will be crowned at the end of the night.
In addition to the dance floor, activities will include a prom-themed photo booth and “build your own mask” build activity. Guests can also enjoy the rest of the attraction including the new LEGO® Star Wars™ MINILAND Model Display that opened in February, two rides, the LEGO® 4D cinema and MINILAND®, a mini-version of Boston landmarks all made out of LEGO® bricks.
Attendees can bring in a canned good or donate to Merlin’s Magic Wand, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s charity that benefits children in need and receive a special raffle ticket for an exclusive LEGO® prize.
Adult Night is a perfect date night or group outing activity. College students can receive $5.00 off Adult Night tickets. Show your student I.D. in admissions and receive an instant discount on your walk-up ticket.
Guests must be over 18 years old and food and adult beverages will be available for purchase. Somerville Brewing Company will be hosting the bar featuring select local Slumbrew beers, wine and cider.
