KIPPENBERGER, Jean Doris (Rumson) – 77, Of Somerville passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 22, 2018.
Beloved wife of the late John C. Kippenberger and the late George R. Barton.
Cherished mother of Stephen Barton, and his wife Susan of Pelham, NH, Sharon Ryan and her husband Stephen of Milton, Brian Barton and his wife Kristine of Salem, NH.
Dear sister of Lorraine Erb of Somerville and the late Serena Coffey.
Loving grandmother of George, Stephen and Amanda Barton, Matthew Ryan, Jake, Luke, and Brooke Barton.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Calling Hours at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Sunday 3-7 pm. A Funeral Home Service will be held Monday morning at 10 am followed by Interment at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Jean’s greatest role in life was as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, nothing made her happier than being with her family.
