There are many important upcoming meetings which I’d like to highlight in this email. Note “community meetings” (don’t appear on the city website), so I try to include those I believe are of interest to constituents based on their input. You’ll find many in this posting, however not all.

1- I am honored and excited to take on the President, Board of Aldermen leadership position!
Last week during the caucus vote I was unanimously voted by my colleagues, Board of Aldermen-President for the upcoming year 2018. I look forward to continuing to work on our shared vision of open & accessible government, affordability and jobs.

Teele Sq. empty lot – 2nd meeting to discuss Boutique Hotel – will occur in about a month depending on progress and holiday schedule.

Clarendon Hill/North St Housing project – expect next meeting to be in early first or second week in December. Will advise soon the exact date.

Infrastructure work Powderhouse Blvd completed this fall Now need to plan re-paving of Blvd.- Expect meeting in Feb. 2018 to solicit feedback & incorporate community ideas on plan. This meeting will be lead by the Director of Traffic & Infrastructure, City Engineer.
