By Frank Santangelo

Meet this week’s “Special Person of the Week:Tennyson “Tenny” Norman

Tennyson “Tenny” Norman was born in Jamaica in 1988 where he graduated from school and then immigrated to the United States in 2010 and later moved to Somerville Massachusetts.

Immediately after he immigrated to Somerville, Tenny worked first as a Cobbler to make ends meet as he was situating himself in this new country to settle down and raise a family.
Later Tenny worked as a lab technician at the Mass Eye and Ear before landing his current position at the Somerville Department of Public Works in the Building Maintenance Department.
He has also made many friends along the way who value his friendship as they welcomed him with open arms.
Tenny is a hard worker and a prime example of working hard for what you want in life and we are certainly glad that he chose Somerville as his home!

Our hats are off to his true Somerville spirit!

We here at the Somerville News Weekly salute you for everything that you do to make Somerville a better place.
Congratulations!
