WHAT: In celebration of the 83rd anniversary of Repeal Day on December 5, Brass Union in Somerville’s Union Square will serve up a selection of classic cocktails to transport revelers back to the Gilded Age. Beverage Director Paulo Pereira will shake and stir a variety of classic cocktails for $11 including: Ketel One Martini (Ketel One, vermouth, orange bitters); Bulleit Old Fashioned (Bulleit Bourbon, sugar, aromatic, orange bitters); and, the Don Julio Paloma (Don Julio Silver, lime, crème de cassis, ginger beer).
As revelers indulge in their right to imbibe throughout the evening, Bulleit’s Jacki Schromm also will be on hand from 7:00pm – 9:00pm to toast in true Prohibition era fashion by mingling with party-goers and giving away special Bulleit branded swag.
