Somerville is marking Memorial Day with its annual morning ceremony and afternoon parade this Sunday, May 29.
At 8 a.m. there will be a procession from American Legion Post #19, 124 Highland Ave., to the Central Library and the placing of wreaths on monuments along Central Hill Park.
At 1 p.m. the annual Memorial Day Parade will start from City Hall. This year’s parade features new groups as well as yearly favorites.
