Hundreds of residents attended the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony this past Thursday evening at the Somerville City Hall /High School Concourse.
Santa also made a special guest appearance to meet and greet with the children of all ages that were in attendance.
A wide array of Christmas carols really put the crowd in holiday high gear mode.
The forty-foot holiday tree was decorated with thousands of lights that appeared to shine through the night for miles. All the trees in entire concourse were also decorated with thousands of festive lights.
