The results of the Greater Boston League Championship meet. Just like during the Indoor Season, our girls came through at the biggest meet of the season. winning meets like this is a
total team effort and our girls responded to the challenge. We had several big surprises during the meet, Sophmore Gabrielle Etienne won the Shot Put in a personal Best throw of 32’8″ and then came back to finish 3rd in the discus with another personal best. Junior Brenda Nguyen won the Javelin with her best throw of 90’10”. It was great performances by the whole team led by our terrific Captains Alison Kaba (scored in 3 events),Kaylee Lima (scored in 3 events), Melissa Baptista ( scored in 3 events) Laxmi Spearing (scored in 2 events) and Samantha Simon (competing in 3 events). I couldn’t be prouder of this team and the way that they competed in the biggest league meet of the season.
