
If you live in the property you own in Somerville, you may already be eligible for one of the highest residential
exemptions in the state and a recent proposal by Mayor Joe Curtatone could give Somerville the highest residential exemption in Massachusetts.
If approved, the residential exemption would increase from 30% to 35%. To be approved, the request first has to be approved by the Board of Aldermen and the State Legislature.
